On June 2, 2025, the BNU Center for Policy Research (BCPR), in collaboration with the Friedrich‑Ebert‑Stiftung (FES), hosted the “Unity in Diversity” Workshop – Lahore Chapter, led by expert trainer Joe Frank. Faculty from multiple institutions explored inclusive pedagogical approaches and reflected on integrating diverse perspectives into contemporary teaching practices.
The interactive session brought together lecturers and curriculum designers from across the region. Through case studies and group exercises, participants examined how varied cultural backgrounds, learning styles, and community experiences can be woven into course content to foster richer classroom dialogue. Emphasis was placed on practical strategies—such as collaborative lesson planning, culturally responsive assessments, and peer‑mentoring models—to ensure equity and engagement for all students. Attendees shared best practices and co‑created action plans to adapt these methods within their own institutions. BCPR’s Director closed the workshop by affirming BNU’s commitment to advancing inclusive education. Moving forward, BCPR and FES will support follow‑up webinars and peer networks to sustain dialogue and measure the impact of these initiatives on student outcomes.
