Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Job Description:

As IT Support Engineer, you will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:

Assistant Network Administrator Required

Beaconhouse National University's Information Technology and Resource Center (ITRC) is looking for a dynamic and competent resource as Assistant Network Administrator.

Job Description:

The core responsibilities of Assistant Network Administrator are:

  • Oversee all Network Operation Center services and ensure services are up and available 24/7.
  • Wi-Fi Campus Network planning & deployment with Cisco/Ruckus/UBNT technologies.
  • Manage Cisco Routers, IP Routing operations & management for Campus WAN & Campus LAN.
  • Maintain three-layered standard Cisco Campus Hierarchical LAN infrastructure (L3/L2 Cisco Switches).
  • Apply knowledge of routing protocols like OSPF, VLANs, STP, HSRP, ACLs, and L2 Security.

Assistant Registrar Required

Beaconhouse National University (BNU) is looking for a bright and energetic resource for the role of Assistant Registrar for its Office of Registrar.

Job Summary: The role involves preparing semester schedules, processing merit scholarship applications, maintaining departmental files, and addressing student issues. It also involves developing university policies, developing information documents, and collaborating with software development teams. The role also involves preparing the academic calendar, handling student queries, supervising the issuance of student letters and certificates, assisting in university convocations, and assisting with documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare semester schedule and BNU master timetable at the start of each academic session and make required changes in it from time to time.
  • Help process applications for merit scholarship after following due procedure.
  • Ensure all departmental files are properly maintained and updated.
  • Conduct periodic review and follow up for missing documents in student files.
  • Maintain daily log of student issues and actions taken to resolve them.
  • Oversee maintenance and updating of student files.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of university policies and procedures regarding student registration, records, class schedules, instructional space scheduling, residency requirements, identification cards, and graduation requirements.
  • Assist in the development of major University information documents including, but not limited to, University Catalogue and class schedules.
  • Employ the attendance, timetable, and enrollment modules of CMS and liaise with the software development team for customization and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare University academic calendar in coordination with Schools.
  • Handle student queries and cases.
  • Supervise issuance of student letters and certificates including bona-fide, medium of instruction, Admission Offer Letters, Dean’s Honor Letters, Scholarship Letters, and other student-related letters issued by Registrar Office.
  • Assist in conduct of University Convocation and all ancillary academic and administrative tasks in coordination with Exam, Administration, and Procurement Offices.
  • Facilitate documentation related to meetings, visits, and correspondences with HEC, Accreditation, and Statutory Bodies.
  • Any other task assigned by the Registrar.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 16 years of education with at least 5 years of experience in academic-related operations of Higher Education Institution(s).
  • Good computer literacy, proficiency in Word and Excel, and strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience as academic coordinators in a university will be preferred.

Finance Officer – External Projects

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer – External Projects to support the financial planning, budgeting, and reporting of externally funded projects (e.g. grants, collaborations, research initiatives, donor-funded programs). The resource will report to the Director Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director Finance to develop, review, and monitor budgets for externally funded projects.
  • Ensure financial compliance with donor regulations, institutional policies, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for external projects, including tracking of disbursements, expenditures, and commitments.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports for donors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project teams, Principal Investigators (PIs), and departments for timely budget submissions and financial updates.
  • Assist in responding to donor queries and external audits related to project funding.
  • Support the Director Finance in preparing consolidated reports and forecasts related to project funding.
  • Maintain documentation of approvals, contracts, disbursement schedules, and financial transactions related to external grants.
  • Identify and escalate any financial discrepancies, variances, or compliance risks to the Director Finance.
  • Facilitate internal control processes and propose improvements for project financial management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • ACCA/CA part qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in grant/project finance or donor funded program accounting.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and financial management software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
  • Understanding of donor reporting and compliance requirements (e.g. USAID, HEC, UN, British Council, etc. if relevant).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience in a higher education or development sector setting.
  • Knowledge of public sector accounting standards and reporting frameworks.
