On December 27, 2025, the School of Education at Beaconhouse National University organized a focused group discussion for Educational Leadership and Management students, offering an in-depth exploration of philosophical pedagogy while fostering reflective dialogue on enduring thinkers, intellectual traditions, and their sustained influence on educational thought and professional practice globally.
Led by Dr. Saadia Ahmad, Senior Lecturer at the School of Media & Mass Communication, the session engaged participants in thoughtful discussions on philosophers across historical eras, illustrating how philosophical traditions continue to shape educational theory and practice. The discussion also emphasized the development of policy papers, equipping students with practical strategies for translating abstract philosophical concepts into structured, policy-relevant arguments. Through interactive exchanges and critical reflection, the session promoted academic rigor, collaborative learning, and a deeper appreciation of philosophy’s integral role in educational leadership.
