Petals of Progress: Unlocking Pakistan’s Floriculture Potential

BNU hosted the workshop “Petals of Progress – Unlocking the Potential of Pakistan’s Ornamental Flower Market” on April 30, 2026, organized with Agahe Pakistan and the International Growth Centre. It brought together policymakers, researchers, and industry stakeholders to explore evidence-based strategies for strengthening Pakistan’s floriculture sector and value chains.

The workshop commenced with welcome addresses by Barak Ullah, CEO Agahe Pakistan, and Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Director, BNU Center for Policy Research (BCPR). Distinguished participants included representatives from SMEDA, SECP, Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, and leading public and private-sector institutions. Through engaging panel discussions on productivity, value chains, and MSME competitiveness, the workshop highlighted practical pathways for advancing Pakistan’s ornamental flower market. The event concluded with an address by the chief guest, Ramesh Singh Arora, Provincial Minister, Punjab.
