MDSVAD's flagship Degree Show 2026 showcases 142 thesis projects by graduating students across four undergraduate programs. Opening on June 29, the event begins with the BNU Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts honoring Mr. Nayyar Ali Dada, followed by a week-long public exhibition celebrating creativity, innovation, and emerging artistic talent.

Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design (MDSVAD) proudly presents Degree Show 2026 - the school's flagship annual event. This year’s edition is the largest to date with 142 thesis projects by the graduating Class of 2026 spanning four undergraduate programs: BFA Visual Arts, BDes Visual Communication Design, BDes Textile, Fashion & Accessories Design, and BA (Hons) Interdisciplinary Expanded Design & Art. The event commences on Monday, June 29 at 5:30 pm and remains open daily, from 2 PM to 8 PM until Sunday, July 5.

The evening will begin with an Award Ceremony honoring Mr. Nayyar Ali Dada, distinguished architect, educator, and conservationist, for his outstanding contribution to the arts. He will then join Professor Rashid Rana, Dean of SVAD, as the Chief Guest for the opening of the Degree Show.

Expect immersive installations, intricate paintings, thought-provoking visuals, and much more! The event is open to public and will be visited by renowned artists, designers, educators, and cultural practitioners.
