On September 30, the Institute of Psychology, in collaboration with the BNU Wellbeing Society, conducted an immersive mindfulness session designed to enhance students’ emotional resilience. Through guided practices and reflective engagement, participants were introduced to tools that foster balance, self-awareness, and a deeper sense of belonging within the academic community.
The session cultivated a restorative atmosphere, allowing students to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their inner experiences amid the demands of university life. Facilitators introduced evidence-based mindfulness techniques, emphasizing their relevance for psychological wellbeing, academic focus, and personal growth. Participants explored breathing exercises, grounding strategies, and reflective dialogues that encouraged openness and emotional understanding. The interactive setting also enabled students to connect with peers, share experiences, and build supportive relationships rooted in empathy and collective wellbeing. The event served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of intentional self-care, empowering students to carry these practices into their academic and personal journeys.
