On December 23, 2025, the Department of Economics at Beaconhouse National University presented its newly launched book, “Pakistan: Reforming an Inefficient and Inequitable Tax System,” at the University of Lahore. The event was hosted by the Faculty of Management Sciences, Department of Economics, UOL.

Authored by Prof. Dr. Hafiz A. Pasha, Professor Emeritus at the School of Management Sciences and former Federal Finance Minister, and Ms. Fatima Malik, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, the book reflects rigorous research and policy-oriented analysis. Ms. Hafsa Tanveer, Head of the Department of Economics at BNU, accompanied the authors during the presentation.
