Shabana Ahmed Chaudhary, Senior Assistant Professor at BNU, is an accomplished educator with over 20 years of experience in English language teaching, linguistics, and teacher education. Bio

Shabana Ahmed Chaudhary is a seasoned educator and academic leader with over two decades of experience in English language teaching, linguistics, teacher education, and academic program development. She currently serves as Senior Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Linguistics and TESOL and English Language Unit at the School of Education, Beaconhouse National University (BNU), Lahore. From August 2023 to August 2024, she also fulfilled the responsibilities of Acting Dean at the School of Education, BNU.

She holds an MA in English Language Teaching (with distinction) from York St John University, UK, and an MA in English Literature from Karachi University. Additionally, she earned the prestigious RSA COTE certification from Cambridge University.

Shabana has held key academic positions at BNU and Aga Khan University, Karachi. Her contributions span curriculum development, academic leadership, research coordination, editorial responsibilities, and conducting professional development programs for educators. Her areas of interest include critical pedagogy, corrective feedback, and teacher professional development. She is a published author, frequent speaker at national and international conferences, and an active contributor to the field of English language education in Pakistan.
