Mr. Sheharyar Zahid, Acting Head of the Department of Theatre, Film & Television at the School of Media and Mass Communication, Beaconhouse National University (BNU), Lahore, is a filmmaker, producer, and screenwriter with a strong passion for cinematic storytelling.
He holds a BFA in Film & Television from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, and a Master’s degree in Film Studies from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. His professional portfolio spans feature-length screenplays, television and digital commercials, music videos, and short films, reflecting his versatile expertise across multiple forms of visual storytelling.
Currently serving as the Officiating Head of Department at BNU, Mr. Zahid continues to mentor and inspire emerging filmmakers while contributing to the growth of contemporary cinema education in Pakistan.
