MDSVAD Hosts ‘MIND BIND – Rethinking Reality’ Immersive Art Exhibition at SOT XIX

Beaconhouse National University (BNU) proudly announces the opening of MIND BIND – Rethinking Reality, an immersive art exhibition curated under the UNESCO Chair on Inclusion through Art at MDSVAD. Showcasing 36 interdisciplinary creative projects, the exhibition opens on November 29, 2025, during the SOT XIX in Lahore.

An immersive encounter where art, inclusion, and future-thinking converge.

Kasim Kasuri, Chair, SOT Events, and Rashid Rana, Dean, BNU-MD SVAD, extend a warm invitation to MIND BIND – Rethinking Reality, an immersive exhibition developed as a flagship initiative of the UNESCO Chair on Inclusion through Art. Curated by Prof. and Dean Rashid Rana, Prof. Risham Syed, and Waleed Zafar, the exhibition highlights the expanding role of art in shaping inclusive, interdisciplinary educational futures.

Featuring 36 innovative creative projects, MIND BIND reflects the IEDA (Interdisciplinary Expanded Design and Arts) initiative, which strengthens BNU’s capacity for research, collaboration, and community engagement across South Asia. The exhibition encourages audiences to rethink perception, reality, and our collective futures.

About SOT XIX

This year’s School of Tomorrow (SOT) conference, held on November 29–30, 2025 at Faletti’s Hotel, Lahore, explores the theme ‘Co-Creating Tomorrow: Humans, AI, and the Future’. The conference examines how creativity, collaboration, and technology—especially AI—shape education, culture, and societal progress.

About the UNESCO Chair

Established in February 2024 at BNU MD-SVAD under Chair-holder Prof. Rashid Rana, the UNESCO Chair for Inclusion through Art promotes interdisciplinary learning and creative collaborations. As part of the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Program, it reflects BNU’s commitment to advancing inclusive education, research, and community engagement, particularly benefiting underrepresented and diverse communities.
