The Institute of Psychology (IP) and the Wellbeing Society at Beaconhouse National University are set to commemorate World Mental Health Day with a campus-wide celebration on Monday, October 27, 2025. The event aims to raise awareness, foster community connection, and support ongoing mental health initiatives through interactive and fundraising activities.
Following the walk, the lawn opposite SCIT will host fundraising stalls featuring Dr. Ruhi Khalid’s pre-loved books, a variety of food stalls, handcrafted items, and henna art, with all proceeds directed to recognized mental health initiatives and organizations. The event aims to foster connection, compassion, and practical support for mental health services while providing an engaging, stigma-free environment for students, staff, and faculty to participate. With the theme “Walk for awareness, connect for a cause,” the celebration underscores BNU’s commitment to promoting mental wellbeing through community action and sustained support for mental health programs; every step and every purchase will contribute to ongoing initiatives that strengthen care and awareness on and beyond campus.
