Beaconhouse National University’s School of Education will host a special session on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, under its Expert Edge Series to celebrate Punjabi on International Mother Language Day. As part of its Expert Edge Series, the BNU School of Education presents a special academic session in celebration of Punjabi on International Mother Language Day. The event features Prof. Dr. Nabila Rehman from Punjab University’s Oriental College, Dr. Zaheer Hassan Wattoo from the Department of Punjabi at Government College University Lahore, and Dr. Farrukh A. Khan from the LUMS School of Humanities and Social Sciences, bringing together diverse scholarly perspectives. The discussion will explore Punjabi as a vital medium of cultural expression, its literary richness, and its place within contemporary academic discourse. The session aims to foster meaningful engagement, encouraging students to critically reflect on language as a marker of identity and heritage.
