BNU Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts 2026
About the Event
Beaconhouse National University's Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts & Design (MDSVAD) proudly presents the BNU Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts 2026, an annual celebration recognizing individuals whose exceptional work has enriched Pakistan's artistic and cultural landscape.
This year's award honours Mr. Nayyar Ali Dada, one of Pakistan's most distinguished architects, in recognition of his dedicated patronage and lifelong contributions to architecture, design, and the arts. The ceremony will be hosted by Prof. Rashid Rana, Dean of the Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts & Design, and will bring together artists, architects, designers, academics, students, alumni, and distinguished guests.

3:45 PM – Arrival of Guests & High Tea (Room 125, SLASS)
4:30 PM – Award Ceremony (SLASS Auditorium)
5:30 PM – MDSVAD Degree Show & Exhibition Opening
Following the award ceremony, guests are invited to the opening of the MDSVAD Degree Show 2026, showcasing the creative achievements and innovative final-year projects of graduating students. The event celebrates artistic excellence while highlighting the next generation of creative talent at BNU.
