The Tenth Convocation of Beaconhouse National University (BNU) was held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Tarogil Campus. A total of 424 graduates were awarded degrees on this occasion. Of these, 149 received graduate and the remaining 275 received undergraduate degrees.

School of Education (SE) and Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SLASS), organized a two-day conference on the topic, ‘Pakistan: Education, Culture and the Economy’ at Beaconhouse National University on April 23-24, 2015,
Dr. Tariq Rahman has recently delivered a number of special lectures, both nationally and internationally. On August 24 Aug 2014, he delivered a lecture at the 3rd Conference of the International Society for the Linguistics of English at University of Zurich, Switzerland on the topic ‘Modernization of Names in Pakistan.’ Later, he attended Distinguished Lectures at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on September 24, 2014 and spoke on the topic ‘The Economic and Political Consequences of Language Policies and Practices: the case of North India and Pakistan.’
School of Education, Beaconhouse National University organized a talk by Dr. Tariq Rahman on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 under its Distinguished Lecture Series. The topic of his talk was "What was Jinnah's Pakistan? And what did we do to it?."
In his talk, Dr. Tariq Rahman highlighted the Jinnah’s vision for Pakistan through the excerpts of his speeches and letters. He discussed how our policy makers, political leaders and we as a nation have distorted that image over the years. He pointed at some of the policies that have harmed our country much more than the alleged inefficiency of our rulers. He also talked about some historical events that have resulted in the distortion of Jinnah’s vision of Pakistan. The talk was attended by students, faculty and staff of BNU. Vice Chancellor Mr. Shahid Hafiz Kardar was the chief guest on the occasion.
School of Education, Beaconhouse National University, under the auspices of Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), organized a seminar featuring distinguished international scholars; Dr. Anne Aly from Australia and Mr. Shahab Enam Khan from Bangladesh. The seminar was held on October 23, 2014. The session was chaired by Dr. Mehdi Hassan who is the Dean School of Media and Mass Communication (SMC) at the Beaconhouse National University. The Registrar Ms. Farzana Shahid welcomed the guests on behalf of the institution and the Vice Chancellor BNU, Mr. Shahid Hafiz Kardar.
