Razia Latif, a faculty member at Razia Hassan School of Architecture (RHSA), BNU presented a paper, co-authored by RHSA Faculty members Haseeb Amjad, Zara Amjad, and Dean Dr. Gulzar Haider at ARCHDESIGN 14: Architectural Design Conference held on May 8-9 at Istanbul, Turkey.
Held at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts at Istanbul, the ARCHDESIGN 14 conference focused on the different methods on design in general, analysis of single buildings and projects and contemporary issues to designing, and representation and construction in the contemporary world. In the conference, Razia Latif presented the paper titled “Awakening the Architectural Sensibilities: Gravity the Ever-Present Nemesis” that focused on how architects deal with gravity as an ever-present force challenging them to cultivate new possibilities. This paper is part 1 of a 4 part series on the First Year Design Teaching philosophy of Razia Hassan School of Architecture.
