BNU Signs MOU with Fauji Foods Limited

In a significant development, Beaconhouse National University (BNU) and Fauji Foods Limited have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaborative efforts in academic, technological, and human resource exchange. The MoU was officially signed on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

The purpose of this MoU is to establish a framework for cooperation between BNU and Fauji Foods Limited in the following areas:

Internship Opportunities:
Under this agreement, Fauji Foods Limited will provide internship opportunities to BNU students, with a priority given to them during the summer or other suitable periods. The availability of these internship vacancies and the selection of candidates will be at the discretion of Fauji Foods Limited. The company will communicate these opportunities to BNU well in advance of the application deadlines.

Employment Opportunities:
Fauji Foods Limited will also offer employment opportunities to BNU graduates on a priority basis, provided there are suitable vacancies. Selection for these positions will be made at the sole discretion of Fauji Foods Limited. The company will inform BNU of any job openings well before the application deadlines. Fauji Foods Limited is also open to setting up hiring camps at BNU, subject to prior coordination and mutual agreement with the university administration.

Knowledge Exchange Programs/Guest Lectures:
Both parties have agreed to exchange faculty and experts (subject to availability) to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, information, and expertise. This collaboration aims to benefit both BNU and Fauji Foods Limited. Market experts from Fauji Foods Limited will conduct guest lectures and sessions for BNU students, while BNU faculty will deliver lectures and sessions for Fauji Foods Limited staff. These knowledge exchange programs will be provided free of cost. If necessary and mutually agreed, both parties may explore paid customized training programs.

Final Year Projects:
Fauji Foods Limited has committed to engaging final-year students of BNU in real-life projects, subject to the selection of recommended students based on merit, at the discretion of Fauji Foods Limited. The company will communicate these project opportunities to BNU at the beginning of each academic semester.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Mr. Ijaz Hussain, who serves as the Head of the Department of Management Sciences at the School of Business, Beaconhouse National University, and Mr. Faisal Sheikh, who holds the position of Chief HR Officer at Fauji Foods Limited.

This MoU reflects the commitment of both BNU and Fauji Foods Limited to strengthen collaboration in education and professional development, offering valuable opportunities for students and graduates while promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
