BNU be hosting a two-hour long online workshop by Prof. Mairi McIntrye of University of Warwick on Business Transformation as part of my course of Media Entrepreneurship on Thursday, March 16, 2023, 11:15 AM at SLASS Lecture Room 013.

In the workshop, Prof Mairi Macintyre would reflect on changing trends in our approach to generating new Businesses and underlying business models. She would consider what is required in the structure of the business, the approach of the business and the role of leadership.

About Mairi McIntyre:

Mairi Macintyre is a Professor at the University of Warwick, one of the UK’s top ranked universities for teaching, research and business engagement.

With a particular focus on Product and Service Design, Prof Macintyre heads-up the Engineering Management discipline group in WMG, Warwick’s largest multidisciplinary department. She has created a number of Master’s level modules and programmes, including the highly popular ‘Service Design and Delivery’ module, and ‘Product Design and Development Management’.

As an experienced engineer with extensive industry and academic experience, she is passionate about bridging existing gaps between research, education and industry. She has initiated and established a wide range of successful projects, including co-creation projects with start-ups and entrepreneurs, students and academic experts, and industry experts from a range of sectors.

Besides full programme design, Mairi’s experience of designing and delivering workshops to industry across various sectors is extensive and includes IBM, Rolls Royce, Syngenta, AstraZeneca, British Airways and MOOG.
