Institute of Psychology organized a seminar on March 8, 2023 to celebrate International Women's Day. The speaker, Ms. Nida Usman Chaudhary is an award winning, diversity and inclusion advocate and founder of women in law initiative Pakistan. She was amongst the list of 100 women from global south featured in Femilist 100 by Gender Security Project in 2021 and has won the International Justitia Awards 2021 in category academia International in Vienna.

Diversity and Inclusion advocate Ms. Nida spoke about women's rights, including education, health, and safety. She emphasized the need to claim these rights and discussed various contexts in which they arise. Ms. Nida also provided resources and organizations for those seeking help, such as women's rights groups and NGOs. The seminar was a call for action to create a more just and equitable society.

The seminar was attended by the Vice Chancellor BNU, Dr. Ruhi Khalid, faculty, students and respectable dignitaries from BNU. The seminar was very well received by the students as it helped create awareness. The talk was followed by an interactive question and answer session.
