Dr. Wajiha Raza Rizvi, Associate Professor, School of Media & Mass Communication, participated as a panelist in a panel discussion (Online) in the third edition of KidzCINEMA on Friday December 9 from 6.30 to 8.00 pm IST (6:30 to 8:00pm PST). The topic was “Cinema of the children, for the children: Where the child has lost?”
The third edition of KidzCINEMA, an International Children Film Festival, is being conducted online at present. With an enthusiastic response from the world over, the festival has seen a participation of 90+ countries every year and received nearly 3700+ film entries cumulatively.
KidzCINEMA started on December 1 and the screening of films will continue the entire month. The festival includes many workshops, discussions, and interactions. It has created many forums stimulating the intellect and generating ideas towards the growth of children’s cinema in India.
KidzCINEMA has been further strengthened with so many institutional collaborations. Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME) and Cineaste International Film Festival of India (CIFFI) initiated by DME Media School have partnered with KidzCINEMA.
She is also participating in the Inaugural session of CIFFI 2022 International Film Festival on Thursday Dec 15 and Valedictory on Wednesday Dec 21 (3 pm IST).
