Associate Professor and Head of Graduate Studies at Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD), Mr. Ali Raza is having a solo show at Canvas Gallery, Karachi after 20 years. The exhibition titled "Painting Remains" will open on Thursday, September 14th 2017, from 5 pm-8 pm and will until Saturday, September 23rd 2017, from 11 am-8 pm.

Ali Raza received his BFA from NCA, Lahore, Pakistan, in 1992 and his MFA from The University of Minnesota in 2001. He has taught at several universities in Pakistan and USA.

He has previously exhibited his work at Art Dubai; Bradford Museum, England; Brunei Gallery, London, Indo Center of Art and Culture, Chelsea, NY besides many other galleries.
