Mr. Rizwan Zaidi conducted a Design Thinking Workshop at School of Media and Communication (SMC). The aim of the workshop was to guide students on how to solve complex problems and find desirable solutions for clients through service design.
The workshop included interactive activities and brainstorming session centered on the five main elements of design thinking or human-centric design; Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test.
Mr. Rizwan Zaidi possesses a degree in Computer Science and has over 16 years of experience with the technology and telecommunications industry. He has worked in diversified roles and has headed the training function for the organizations. In these roles, he has developed trainers, leaders, management and experts at all levels. He is adept at training people on customer service, communication and service design thinking.
Currently working with the Telenor Group, Mr. Rizwan Zaidi is responsible for developing experts for the 13 Business Units that Telenor owns globally. He has vast experience in customer centricity, journey mapping, process optimization and helping the organization communicate effectively. He has just concluded a design thinking challenge for over 60 participants from 13 countries which spanned 7 months. He has also conducted a workshop on how to use service design to bring about transformation in organizations by conducting workshops in Thailand and Norway. He is passionate about using service design to bring about innovation in all industries.
