Dr. Ruhi Khalid, Director, Institute of Psychology, at Beaconhouse National University chaired a scientific session at a one-day symposium on “Psychology for Change: Women and Community” organized by Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab on March 21, 2017. Punjab Minister for Population Welfare Begum Zakia Shahnawaz graced the occasion.

Research papers were presented by eminent psychologists at the symposium that stressed the need for providing equal opportunities for women. The session turned out to be especially fruitful and the audience applauded and showed great interest in the overall work presented.
