Institute of Psychology, Beaconhouse National University organized a seminar on Emotions: +100 years of Biopsychological History on June 03, 2016. The seminar was conducted by Dr. Aneeq Ahmad, Professor and Chair at Henderson State University, Arkadelphia (US).

Dr. Ahmad did MSC in Psychology from Government College University Lahore and then MSC and Ph.D. in behavioral neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. He is the member of Society for Neuroscience (SFN), The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), American Psychological Association (APA), and Southwestern Psychological Association (SWPA). He took a sabbatical from Henderson State University to teach in Pakistan. He also serves as a consulting editor to the Pakistan Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology (PJSCP).

In the seminar, Dr. Aneeq Ahmad talked about the historical aspects of biopsychology (or Behavioral neuroscience as it is commonly known as). Present on the occasion were Dean Institute of Psychology, Dr. Ruhi Khalid along with faculty, staff and students.
