Students from School of Media & Communication (SMC), BNU participated in GlobCom, a multicultural global communications project which is in its 14th year. In this project, students and lecturers collaborate in global virtual teams with 16 universities in 16 different countries, on five continents.
Three students from the SMC Journalism department ; Mishal Ashraf Cheema, Bahawal Sipra and Firas Shams participated in GlobCom as part of the collaboration between Emerson College and SMC, BNU. The group was led by Mehroz Sajjad, who is a lecturer in SMC and had also been appointed as one of the External Public Relations Advisors to the teams in GlobCom 2016. Ms. Sajjad is also an alumnus of Emerson College and has been part of the GlobCom Project in the previous years.
The GlobCom symposium 2016 was held at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi from 21-24 May, 2016.
