Mr. Ijaz Hussain presented a research report on "Strengthen Teaching and Research in Governance" at the 2nd National Symposium in Thematic Research Conference held on February 24, 2016 in Islamabad, Pakistan. Co-authors for this report are Dr. Hafiz A Pasha, Dr. Aisha G Pasha and Dr. Akhter Hussan Khan. This is the First Report on the State of Governance in Pakistan.

The report was well received among academia & policy makers and by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC). The report was funded by HEC under Thematic Research Grant to strengthen teaching and research in governance.

Before this, Mr. Ijaz Hussain has presented a number of conference papers and his research articles have been published in national and international journals. Ijaz Hussain is a senior faculty member at Department of Economics, Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences (SLASS), BNU.
