School of Media and Communication (SMC), Beaconhouse National University (BNU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Institute of Media and Communication Science, Technische Universität Ilmenau (TU IL), Germany for student exchange program. Through this program, up to 3 students from each university will spend a semester or an academic year as an exchange student, thus gaining access to an immersive educational experience at the partner university.

At the MoU signing ceremony, VC BNU, Mr. Shahid Hafiz Kardar, Dean SMC Dr. Prof Taimur ul Hassan, Faculty member from TU IL, Mr. Waqas Ejaz, Registrar BNU, Mr. Nadeem Baig, Director Student Affairs & External Relation, Mr. Zaeem Yaqoob Khan and SMC faculty member Mehroz Sajjad were present.

The Institute of Media and Communication Science at Technische Universität Ilmenau is one of the largest institutes of its kind in Germany. The institute focuses on media and communication processes from a social science perspective and offers interdisciplinary orientation integrating technical as well as economic matters in both teaching and research. School of Media and Communication, BNU shares the same interdisciplinary approach offering an interesting mix of courses.
