Professor Sajjad Kausar, a senior faculty member at Razia Hassan School of Architecture (RHSA), delivered a special lecture on Mosque Wazir Khan's Kashi (tile mosaic) work at the Historical Lawrence Hall, Quaid -e - Azam Library, Lahore. The lecture, held on 12th October 2015, was organized by Amateur Gardeners Club.
Wazir Khan Mosque is a spectacular historical monument located within the Walled City of Lahore. Built in 1634 during the reign of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, the mosque’s kashi work is said to be among the best from Mughal period. The mosque has always been a subject of interest for architects and historians.
