The cast and crew of one of the most anticipated films of the year, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, visited BNU on Thursday, September 17, 2015 for an interactive session with students. The session was organized by the Department of Theatre, Film and Television (TFT). Present on the occasion were Humayun Saeed, Vasay Chaudhry, Sohai Ali Abro, and Mehwish Hayat.

Releasing on Eid-ul-Azha, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani is a multi-starrer comedy film written by Vasay Chaudhry, directed by Nadeem Baig and produced by Humayun Saeed. Apart from the actors who visited BNU, the film features a stellar cast of Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahmed Butt, Sarwat Gillani, Ayesha Khan, Jawed Sheikh, Bushra Ansari, Ismail Tara and others.

The session with the cast of Jawani Phir Nahi Ani (JPNA) started with Mr. Urooj Samdani, HoD Department of Theatre, Film and Television, welcoming the guests after which the trailer and song promos of the movie were shown. SLASS Auditorium resounded with thunderous applause on every promo. What followed next was an interactive and entertaining session where the students asked a variety of questions from the stars of the film. Students were particularly interested in knowing about film-making process, screenplay writing and revival of Pakistan’s film industry. Towards the end, producer/actor Humayun Saeed asked the students to watch JPNA because of its entertainment value and comedy quotient. The session ended with students taking hundreds of selfies with the stars of the film.
