Admission Criteria
Selected candidates will be granted provisional admission only, which may be regularized after they have been declared successful and meet any one of the following requirements:
BA / BSc (Hons) Programmes
- FA / F.Sc with at least 2nd division (i.e. 495 marks)*.
- O-levels (at least 6 subjects with IBCC equivalence) and 3 A-levels. Advanced Subsidiary (AS) will not be taken into account.
- High School Diploma and International Baccalaureate (IB) result with at least 2.5 CGPA.
- Equivalence Certificate form IBCC is mandatory for all international qualifications i.e. O Levels/A-Levels, High School Diploma, and International Baccalaureate, or equivalent.
*Motivated candidates with a serious commitment to learning and minimum 60% marks in intermediate or equivalent marks in A-levels or High School Diploma are eligible to apply for BBA (Hons.) program. Admission offers will be subject to the decision of the admission committee based on the candidate’s academic history and performance in the test and interview.
*Motivated candidates with a serious commitment to learning and minimum 45% marks in intermediate or equivalent marks in A-levels or High School Diploma are eligible to apply for BS. Business Intelligence and Analytics program. Admission offers will be subject to the decision of the admission committee based on the candidate’s academic history and performance in the test and interview.
*For Economics minimum 50% marks in intermediate or equivalent marks in A-levels or High School Diploma. Admission offer would be subject to the decision of the admission committee based on the candidate's academic history and performance in the test and interview.
*For B.Sc in Applied Psychology 45% marks required in Inter OR equivalent IBCC equivalence.
SCIT Admission Criteria:
- For BSc (Hons.) in Computer Science, at least 50% marks in Intermediate (with Maths as a subject) OR Intermediate (Pre-Medical Group).
- For BSc (Hons) in Management and Business Computing, at least 50% marks in any Group of Intermediate.
- Equivalent qualifications are acceptable, provided an equivalence Certificate is obtained from the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) Office.
- All applicants are required to appear in an Admission Test and Interview.
MA / MSc Programmes
- Bachelor’s degree in Humanities or Sciences from a recognized foreign or local college/university with minimum second division.
MS/M.Phil Programme
- MA second division or 16 years of education with BA (Hons.) from a recognized university with minimum CGPA of 2.5
- GAT, General Test from the National Testing Service
RHSA Admission Criteria
B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture)
- Eligibility 20%
- Statement of Intent 20%
- Admission Test 40%
- Interview 20%
Students awaiting their FA/FSc/A-Level results may apply for admission. Selected candidates will be granted provisional admission only, which may be regularized after they have been declared successful and meet the admission requirements of the university.
Entrance Exam
The entrance exam will be a multiple-choice paper. Student will have to select the best or correct answer. The exam will assess the following with relevance to
architecture.
- Candidate’s General Knowledge: historical, regional, social, literary.
- Candidate’s Cognitive ability: perception, memory, judgment, and reasoning.
- Candidate’s understanding of moral/ social issues confronted by architecture today.
- Interview by a panel of Faculty.
Eligibilty
To be eligible for admission to the undergraduate program, a candidate must satisfy any one of
the following requirements:
- Passed F.S.C/FA/ICS/with at least 2nd division (45% marks)
- A-Levels subjects with at least 2nd division (45% marks)
Note for All Candidates:
Candidates are requested to ensure they meet applicable eligibility requirements before applying. These are listed on the Website in the Admission section. Moreover, candidates are responsible to complete the application and other requirements according to the published instructions and time schedule. Beaconhouse National University reserves the right to admission; to revoke admission and registration if an application is discovered to be inaccurate or incomplete, or if supporting documents are discovered to be fraudulent. Any candidate who presents a fraudulent document in support of an application for admission may be identified to other universities and colleges.
There are TWO Admission Cycles for the Entrance Exam. Early Admissions and Regular Admissions. If a candidate does not clear the Admission process in the Early Admissions, they may apply for a re-interview in the Regular Admission. If the Candidate has failed to appear on the Entrance Exam in the first cycle, they can request to appear in the second cycle (The decision will be taken by the Admission Committee). The admission granted is valid for that year only and will not be carried forward next year if the candidate does not avail the admission. They will have to re-apply next year.

Statement of Intent (300-600 words)
An essay is to be written by the candidate providing an introduction about themselves and their
motivation for becoming an Architect. A full and specific description of the applicant’s motivation
is required to be submitted with the Application. The letter must include statements of goals,
their interests beyond the field of architecture, and their skills. Define key questions, issues that
might be answered, and how they feel that this institute will provide opportunities to fulfill their
missions.
This will be submitted with the application form. This submission is weighted heavily during the
application review process.

All candidates have to undertake the entrance exam.

Interview
All candidates are interviewed to keep the admission process thorough and to give equal
opportunity to go through the entire process. Interviews are an integral part of the process as it
allows the department to understand the Candidate, their capabilities, and their reasons to join
the field in a candid conversation.
BID (Bachelor in Interior Design)
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to the undergraduate program, a candidate must satisfy any one
of the following requirements:
- Passed F.S.C/FA/ICS/I.COM with at least 45% marks.
- A-Levels subjects with at least 2nd division (45% marks)
- O-levels (in at least 6 subjects for international students and 8 subjects for local students)
and 3 A-Levels Subjects. Advanced Subsidiary (AS) will not be taken into account.
(Candidates scoring an average C grade in each O and A-Level are eligible to apply).
- American High School Diploma with IBCC equivalence of 45%.
- Bachelors in any subject with a minimum of 2.0 CGPA or 2nd Division
PhD
- 18 years of education from recognized university.
- For admission into PhD a minimum of CGPA 3.00 in MS/M.Phil or first Division in annual system is required.
- GAT/GRE.
- All educational documents duly attested by HEC.
- Comprehensive Examination.
- 18 credit hours of course work is essential before thesis.
