Dr. Tariq Rahman has recently delivered a number of special lectures, both nationally and internationally. On August 24 Aug 2014, he delivered a lecture at the 3rd Conference of the International Society for the Linguistics of English at University of Zurich, Switzerland on the topic ‘Modernization of Names in Pakistan.’ Later, he attended Distinguished Lectures at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on September 24, 2014 and spoke on the topic ‘The Economic and Political Consequences of Language Policies and Practices: the case of North India and Pakistan.’
Dr. Ummad Mazhar’s new publication, Corruption across Government Occupations: Cross-National Survey Evidence, has been published by the Journal of International Development (of Wiley International).
