Governor Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar has given Best Teacher Award to Prof. Dr. Taimur ul Hassan of SMC. The award has been instituted by Nai Baat Newspaper Organization to honor individuals who have made valuable contribution to their respective fields.

Dr. Taimur-ul-Hassan teaches at the Department of Journalism at the School of Media and Communications (SMC), BNU. He has written a number of research articles. Earlier, research article titled “Role of Newspaper in Education Policy making in Punjab,” was published in HEC approved Journal of Gender & Social Issues.
