The Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD) at Beaconhouse National University is thrilled to announce the launch of its groundbreaking initiative, the Self Learning Resource (SLR). The inauguration event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Dr. Moeed Yusuf, Prof. Rashid Rana, and the esteemed SVAD Faculty. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was carried out by high-achieving students, Muhammad Wasay Ejaz (MA ADS) and Sumayya Hassan (MA AE).

In line with SVAD's Vision 2030, which envisions the 'Future of the Classroom,' the SLR marks a significant milestone in SVAD's commitment to 21st-century innovative learning. This initiative redefines the role of educators and extends education beyond traditional settings.

 

The SLR empowers students to take charge of their learning journey by providing access to a wealth of digital resources and reference materials. Fostering a culture of self-directed learning, it offers a wide array of resources, including physical books, e-books, journals, and multimedia content. Additionally, students enjoy privileged access to all SVAD course materials.

The SLR is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, inviting students to embark on a transformative self-learning journey. This heralds a new era in education and aligns with SVAD's dedication to shaping the future of learning.
