Haifa Mudassar, a talented student from the School of Media and Mass Communication's TV, Film and Theatre Department , recently left a lasting impression at the Pakistan Theatre Festival held at the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi. Haifa's captivating performance as Naytee in Ajoka Theatre's "Kaun Hai Yah Gustakh," based on the works of celebrated playwright Manto, drew applause and acclaim from the audience.

In "Kaun Hai Yah Gustakh," Haifa portrayed the character Naytee, a woman seeking a license for her horse-drawn carriage, or "tanga ghora," to make ends meet in a society that restricts women from such professions.
