BNU is proud of Maryam Behram, a distinguished alumna of Institute of Psychology, as we celebrate her remarkable accomplishment in the field of psychology.

Maryam has achieved extraordinary academic milestones. She successfully earned her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Applied Psychology and pursued further studies, obtaining a MS in Clinical & Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Psychology. Her journey continued with her invaluable contribution as a Research Assistant at the institute, where she displayed unwavering dedication to the field of psychological research.

Presently, Maryam is embarking on Stage 2 of her Professional Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Maryam's doctoral research is dedicated to the implementation of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) in routine care settings, showcasing her profound interest in evidence- based psychotherapies.

Maryam also served as a Trainee Counseling Psychologist at the Counseling and Psychological Services of University of Glasgow.
