Dr. Farasat Rasool, Associate Professor, Department of Journalism, School of Media & Mass Communication has been nominated by the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, as a member of the Course Design Committee (CDC).

The committee comprises esteemed academics from all over Pakistan and is mandated to develop and design courses which are part of the HEC's Undergraduate Education Policy (V1.1).

He attended the first meeting of this committee in HEC's regional offices at Lahore on 5th September, 2023.

They designed a two credit hour course, titled "Civics and Community Engagement", as part of the general education component of the HEC's Undergraduate Education Policy (V1.1) 2023.
