Start-up by BNU SCIT Alum Raises $2.5m in Pre-Seed Funding

Jiye Technologies, a Pakistan-based agri-supply chain platform, founded by Ali Amin, an alum of SCIT, BNU, has raised $2.5 M in its pre-seed funding round.
Ali Amin belongs to a family of agri marketplace traders. In addition to agri trade, Ali has previously played a pivotal role in launching, & scaling Unicorns including Careem & Swvl, Explaining the concept of Jiye Technologies, Ali said, “We’re driven by impact; we like to bring positive change in categories which impact the masses in Pakistan, hence, we chose to fix a phenomenon that touches almost 70% of the country’s population.
Co-founded by Osama Salman (Ex Unilever & Swvl ), and Ahmed Bilal Afzal (10 Years + supply chain experience), Jiye Technologies plans to digitise the agri-sector in Pakistan by giving farmers’ easier access to major markets and convenient sourcing to retailers by creating a lean supply chain ecosystem.
