Recent Publications of Dr Qudsia Kalsoom

Dr. Qudsia Kalsoom, Assistant Professor - Department of Educational Leadership and Management at BNU School of Education has made several research contributions recently. Out of these, some of Dr. Qudsia's significant contributions in which the faculty member led the research or was one of the principal investigators are notably summarized below:

  1. Dr Qudsia collaborated in an international research project related to the role of higher education in promoting critical thinking dispositions and attitudes towards sustainability. The project was carried out from October 2019 – June 2020. Based on the study findings, a research paper entitled “Exploring the relationship between dispositions to think critically and sustainability concern in HESD” has been published in the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education. The impact factor of the journal is 2.85 and HEC has placed the journal in ‘W’ category.

  1. Dr Kalsoom’s research paper “Impact of sustainability-focused learning intervention on teachers’ agency to teach for sustainable development” has also been published in International Journal of Sustainable Development & World Ecology , a ‘W’ category journal. The journal’s impact factor is ‘3.71’.

  1. In addition, Dr Kalsoom’ has contributed to scholarly debates related to Covid-19. One of her contribution has been published in an impact factor (2.53), Quartile 1, ‘W-category’ journal Journal of Gender Studies. While the other one has got published as a book chapter in a peer reviewed book. The book COVID-19: Paving the Way for a More Sustainable World has been published by Springer, a leading academic publisher.
