BNU's first Environment Week is being held from Monday, November 25, 2019 – Friday, November 29, 2019 at BNU, Tarogil Campus.

The week is a part of the activities of an elective course 'Environment: Theory, Debates, and Practices' offered by Dr. Qudsia Kulsoom (from BNU School of Education).  The event includes talks, panel discussions, orientation sessions, and pro-environmental practical activities.

The topics addressed during the talks and discussion shall be:

Environmental Psychology
Environment and Society: Eco-feminism & Climate Action
Environmental Economics
Eco-friendly fashion
Environmental Health Hazards
Smog and its political consequences
Waste Management

The  Environment Week aims at helping the participants to understand the complexity of environmental issues and transform their environmental practices at individual and community levels. The event is organized by students enrolled in the course having the make-up as : 31 from the Institute of Psychology; 8 from the Department of Liberal Arts; 1 from School of Computer and IT; and 1 from Business Administration. 

The event shall also includes research presentations conducted in the field of Environmental Psychology by the students of MS Clinical & Counselling Psychology.
