Students and graduates from Department of Theatre, Film and Television at School of Media and Mass Communication (SMC) are making it big in the media industry. Most of them have joined reputed channels and are working on exciting film and TV project.

• Eraj Hammad of BA (Hons) Semester 6 has signed a contract with BOL Entertainment for a TV soap Parlor Wali Larki. Eraj will play in a major role in the soap which is being directed by well-know actor-director Nadia Afgan.
  Eraj Hammad had earlier done worked on Jawad Bashir’s feature film Teri Meri Love Story. He is also working as an assistant director in Bilal Lashari’s upcoming film Maula Jutt 2.


• Three students from TFT will be working in a soap directed by Ali Tahir for BOL Entertainment TV. Two of these include our recent graduates Adeel Amina and Jassim Shahid who will be working as Assistant Director and Director of Photography. One of the our current students, Waqas Amin, will be working as an Actor in a major role. All these students have been recommended by Mr. Ali Tahir.


• Maryum Yousaf, a graduate of TFT who is also working at BNU as coordinator and TA for MS Film and TV is receiving accolades for her exceptional singing talent. Her duet with Abubakar Khalil's , Haan Pyaar Sa, has won ARY Music competition. The song won with an amazing voting lead 4035856 to 3150957 and Maryam will now record the video for the song for ARY channel.

From working behind the camera to showcasing their talent as actors and singers, TFT students are truly proved their mettle. We like to wish them all the best for all their professional endeavors.
