Students from School of Media & Communication (SMC), BNU will participate in GlobCom, a multicultural global communications project which is in its 14th year. In this project, students and lecturers will be collaborating in global virtual teams with 16 universities in 16 different countries, on five continents.
This year, BNU SMC was fortunate enough to be chosen to collaborate with Emerson College, Boston. Three students from the SMC Journalism department; Mishal Ashraf Cheema, Bahawal Sipra and Firas Shams will be participating in GlobCom as part of the collaboration between Emerson College and SMC, BNU. They will be led by Mehroz Sajjad, who is a lecturer in SMC and has also been appointed as one of the External Public Relations Advisors to the teams in GlobCom 2016. Ms. Sajjad is also an alumnus of Emerson College and has been part of the GlobCom Project in the previous years.
The GlobCom symposium will be held at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi between the 21-24 May, 2016 where all the participants will meet and present their final projects.
