Professor Sajjad Kausar, a senior faculty member at Razia Hassan School of Architecture (RHSA), has been elected as the Chairman of Institute of Architects of Pakistan (IAP) - Lahore Chapter. As the Chairman, he will promote the cause of Architecture in Pakistan and liaison with other national and international professional bodies of architects throughout the world

The Institute of Architects, Pakistan (IAP) is the governing body of architects in Pakistan. It looks after professional interests as well as those of the public in general concerned with the building profession. Currently consisting of four chapters, Karachi Chapter, Lahore Chapter, Rawalpindi-Islamabad Chapter, and Peshawar Chapter; the organization conducts research and organizes seminars, conferences and exhibitions for promoting the cause of the architectural profession.
