Students from Department of Economics, Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SLASS) visited Lahore Stock Exchange on April 21, 2015. The visit was organized by the Corporate Communications Department Lahore Stock Exchange where LSE's officials interacted with them. The students were accompanied by Ms. Novaira Junaid.

During the visit, the students were given a detailed presentation covering all spheres of capital and financial markets. They were told about the regulatory framework, market indicators, investment products, financial services and opportunities accessible to investors in Pakistan.

Deputy Secretary Gitee Bhatti quoted practical examples about various investment avenues obtainable in the market and their role in the economic structure. She also spoke on various operational matters of the exchanges including listings, trading, corporate governance, sensitivity of stock market and investor protection. She told the students to adopt saving behavior in their life style to become the chief financial officer of their own life. Students also asked questions related to the ins and outs of Lahore Stock Exchange.
