Sana Obaid, a graduate of MA ADS program at SVAD, is making her presence felt at the international art scene. Sana has been selected for The Big Picture Art Exhibition in Dubai which is opening on May 02, 2015. Besides this, she will soon be conducting a miniature workshop at DUCTAC (Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre) where she has earlier conducted an Art Club for kids.

Sana Obaid was a UMISAA scholar throughout her MA ADS program at SVAD. Formed with the collaboration of South Asia Foundation and Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design, UNESCO Madanjeet Institute of South Asian Art (UMISAA) was initiated at BNU to promote sustainable cultural, educational and economic development throughout the region. On account of the SAF scholarships, young people from South Asian countries including Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka come every year to the city of Lahore to study art and design at BNU.
