Job Fair and Study Abroad Camp 2019


BNU JOB Fair is being held on March 14 and a Study Abroad Camp on March 15, 2019. Both of the events will be held on campus from 10 am until 5 pm on both days. We are hosting the events this year on the sidelines of the BNU Bestival. 

Job Fair

This year's Job Fair (being held on March 14) will feature over 30 organizations from diverse sectors of the industry (Media & Digital Advertising Firms, Software Development Firms, Game Design Houses, Financial Sector, FMCGs, Fashion and Apparel Brands, NGOs etc. ). The organizations will be setting up their HR Help-desks, receive CVs, conduct interviews and shortlist candidates for hiring. Please note that all of the organizations represented have shown a keen interest in all disciplines across BNU and will be looking forward to meeting students and graduates from all BNU schools and departments.

  • ABN News

    ABN News is the first TV (web) channel, focusing on Pakistani youth affairs. ABN News slogan is ‘’ Naujwano ki Awaz’’. The channel provides a platform to youngsters for their talent expression. Their programs are of great interest to Pakistani youth providing them with counseling, guidance, entertainment, information and much more.

Study Abroad Camp

The Study Abroad Camp (being held on March 15) is a nascent initiative where we have invited over 20 international universities (from the UK, Australia, Germany, Ireland, Canada and USA). The purpose of the initiative is to facilitate existing students, graduates and alumni in their pursuits for education abroad. 

Following universities and organizations will be participating in the event:


    AIESEC is the world's largest youth-run organization. It is an international non-governmental and not-for-profit that provides young people with leadership development, cross-cultural global internships, and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe. The organization focuses on empowering young people to make a positive impact on society. The AIESEC network includes approximately 27,000 members in 127 countries.

Brunel has over 12,900 students and 2,500 staff.     Regent's University London is a private non-profit university located in London, United Kingdom. Regent's University London is only the second institution in the UK (after the University of Buckingham) that was granted the status of a private university. Regent's University London offers a wide range of courses in Business and Management & the Arts and Humanities, including American and British degree programmes.     Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL), formally incorporated as Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, is a public research university and a constituent college of the federal University of London situated between Windsor and Heathrow.. It has three faculties, 20 academic departments and 9,200 undergraduate and postgraduate students from over 100 countries.

  • TU Dublin

    TU Dublin is Ireland's first technological university, established on January 1, 2019, taking over the operations of the three preceding institutions of technology in the Dublin area – Dublin Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown, and Institute of Technology, Tallaght. It is the second-largest third-level institution in Ireland based on student population of 28,500, behind University College Dublin.   • University of Aberdeen

    The University of Aberdeen is a public research university in Aberdeen, Scotland. As of 2016/17 the university had 14,150 students, of which 3,940 were postgraduates. In 2009/10 students represented 120 different countries with about 46% men, 54% women. The university has more than 550 different undergraduate degree programmes and more than 120 postgraduate taught programmes.

  • University of Birmingham

    The University of Birmingham is a public research university located in Edgbaston, Birmingham, United Kingdom. The university was ranked 14th in the UK and 79th in the world in the QS World University Rankings for 2019. The 2017 Global Employability University Ranking places Birmingham at 142nd worldwide and 10th in the UK. The student population includes 22,440 undergraduate and 12,395 postgraduate students, which is the fourth largest in the UK (out of 167). Birmingham has departments covering a wide range of subjects including arts, law, engineering and physical sciences, life and environmental sciences, medical and dental sciences, social sciences, liberal arts and sciences.

    The University of Essex is a public research university in Essex, England. Essex was named University of the Year at the Times Higher Education Awards in November 2018. The Research Excellence Framework (REF) in 2014 ranked Essex in the top twenty universities in the UK for the quality of its research and the top five for social science. Essex is in the top 50 for the social sciences and law in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2018 by subject. It has produced many notable alumni in several fields, including two Nobel Laureates, prominent scientists, artists, and politicians.

  • University of Glasgow

    University of Glasgow is a public research university in Glasgow, Scotland. The University is a member of the Russell Group of research-led British universities and was a founding member of the organisation, Universitas 21, an international grouping of universities dedicated to setting worldwide standards for higher education. The university currently has fifteen Regius Professorships, nearly twice the number held by the next nearest, Oxford. In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), almost 70% of research carried out at the university was in the top two categories (88% in the top three categories). Eighteen subject areas were rated top ten in the UK, whilst fourteen subject areas were rated the best in Scotland.

    The University of Hertfordshire is a public university in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. The University of Hertfordshire is recognized as one of the top twenty universities in the world to study animation. The University offers over 800 undergraduate, postgraduate, CPD, online distance learning and short courses in its 11 schools of study, within which there are around 50 academic departments and 24 research centers.   • University of Leeds

    The University of Leeds is a public research university in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The university has 33,300 students, the fifth largest university in the UK (out of 167). From 2006 to present, the university has consistently been ranked within the top 5 (alongside the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, the University of Nottingham and the University of Edinburgh) in the United Kingdom for the number of applications received. Whilst maintaining its strengths in the traditional subjects (for example more students studying languages and physical sciences than anywhere else in the UK), Leeds has also developed expertise in more distinctive and rare specialist areas such as Colour Chemistry, Fire Science, Nanotechnology and Aviation Technology with Pilot studies.

    The University of Manchester is a public research university in Manchester, England, formed in 2004 by the merger of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and the Victoria University of Manchester.   • University of Nicosia

    The University of Nicosia (UNIC) is the largest university in Cyprus, with its main campus located in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. It also runs study centers in Athens, Bucharest and New York City. The University of Nicosia has 12,000+ enrolled students from 70+ countries studying in its Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degree programmes, that are delivered by its 6 schools.

  • University of South Wales

    The University of South Wales is a public university in Wales, with campuses in Cardiff, Newport, Pontypridd and Dubai. The university is the second largest university in Wales in terms of its student numbers, and offers around 200 courses. The university has four main faculties across its campuses in South Wales.

  • University of the Arts London

    University of the Arts London (UAL) is a collegiate university in London, England, specialising in arts, design, fashion and the performing arts. It is a federation of six arts colleges: Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins, Chelsea College of Arts, the London College of Communication, the London College of Fashion and Wimbledon College of Arts. In 2017/2018 the university was ranked among the first six universities for art and design in the QS World University Rankings. It is fourth among United Kingdom institutions by number of international students.

  • University of Wollongong

    The University of Wollongong is an Australian public research university located in the coastal city of Wollongong, New South Wales. As of 2017 the university has an enrollment of more than 32,000 students (including over 12,800 international students from 134 countries), an alumni base of more than 131,859 and over 2,000 staff members. The University of Wollongong is ranked among the best 20 modern universities in the world in the QS Top 50 Under 50 Rankings 2018. The University has numerous centers of research excellence across all the faculties, including the Communication and Media Research Institute, whose research is ranked in the Global Top 40 by the QS World University Rankings. In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, Westminster was ranked 2nd for Communications, Cultural and Media Studies research, 6th for Art and Design research, in addition to the university performing strongly in Architecture and the Built Environment, Geography and Environmental studies. Almost 80% of the university's submitted research across 20 subject areas was judged to be of international quality. The university achieved world leading and internationally excellent status for most of their work in Media and Communication, Art and Design and Architecture.


    The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan was established in 1950 by the governments of Pakistan and the United States. USEFP is guided by a binational commission composed of an equal number of Pakistanis and Americans, with the Chair alternating each year between a Pakistani and an American. USEFP is one of 50 "Fulbright Commissions" located throughout the world. Since 1951 when the first group of Pakistani grantees traveled to America and in 1952 when the first American grantees visited Pakistan, the USEFP has fostered mutual understanding between the people of Pakistan and the United States through educational and cultural exchange. More than 5,000 Pakistanis and almost 900 Americans have participated in USEFP administered exchange programs.
