Online Admission System
Information Technology and Resource Center (ITRC) at Beaconhouse National University has developed an Online Admission System to enhance the admissions process at the University. Through this system, aspiring students can apply for any program at BNU through an online application form. Some of the main features of this Online Admission System include:
- This is a real time, web based application that will allow students to apply for admission online.
- This application will provide applicants a self-portal. From this portal, applicants can view their application status, at any time, from anywhere. Test and interview dates, academic scores and final admission status will be updated here.
- All processes on student application will be real time and upon any change, applicants will receive an email and SMS alert.
Registrar Office Database (RODB)
RODB is in-house developed comprehensive software which includes modules for student admission, enrollment and transcript generation.
Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
HRIS is in-house developed ERP system which is designed to fulfill the requirements of HR department. It has web based interface which has self service module available. With this module BNU faculty, staff and the students can perform all HR related tasks from anywhere on their desktop.
Centralized Service Desk
BNU has centralized service desk solution implemented in both campuses of the university. This solution is managed by web-based in-house developed software. Staff, Faculty and students can raise tickets and track status of their queries anytime.
Pinnacle ERP System
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System which provided services in: GL, Budget, Procurement, Fixed Assets, HR (Payroll), Provident Fund, EOBI, Stores, Email Salary, Fee Module and various Reports.
Moodle is an open source Learning Management System (LMS) used by Students and Faculty for Course Management and Course Content Management.
Evergreen is an open source Integrated Library System (ILS) used by Students and Faculty for Acquisitions, Serial, Cataloging, Booking and various Reports for BNU Library.
Hi-Speed Internet Service
BNU IT department is committed to provide best internet services at both campuses of the university. Currently, 32MBps CIR internet bandwidth is available at Tarogil Campus and 4MBps CIR internet bandwidth is available at City Campus.
All blocks of the university is almost fully covered with Wi-Fi facility for staff, faculty and the students.
FILESERVER / DATASERVER
Every student, faculty and staff has their own secured Home Drives to save their university related data. Faculty and staff members can share their data within their department colleagues using this service.
CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT
ITRC is providing Classroom Technology Support requested by Faculty during their class.
Off-Campus Access of Digital Libraries
Faculty and Students can access Digital Libraries for their research work off-campus using SSL-VPN and Dial-in VPN.
