BNU and Royal Society of Arts on and The Samosa present Pakistan Calling

On April 8, 2013 Royal Society of Arts (RSA) and The Samosa’s project “Pakistan Calling” was launched. For the first time Filmmakers from Pakistan from two esteemed institutions were hand-picked by RSA and The Samosa to represent stories from Pakistan in Europe. The Department of Theater Film and Television, Beaconhouse National University is one of the two chosen institutions for a long-term partnership which will develop into a touring Film Festival. Dr. Taimur-ul-Hassan, Associate Professor at School of Mass Communication, participated in the HEC National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC) meeting for the finalization of Mass Communication courses for BS (Honors), MS and MPhil on March 4,5,6, 2013.

 

Dr. Taimur-ul-Hassan appointed as Coordinator of Media Council for Higher Education

Dr. Taimur-ul-Hassan has been appointed as Coordinator of Media Council for Higher Education to work as an advisory body of HEC to monitor media institutions across Pakistan.

 

Dr. Taimur-ul-Hassan’s research articles published

Two research articles authored by Dr. Taimur-ul-Hassan, Associate Professor at School of Mass Communication, have been published in HEC Journals. One article titled as Role of Newspapers in Public Policy Making has been published in FWU Journal of Social Sciences, Volume 6, No 2, Winter 2012, PP 124-130, Frontier Women University, Peshawar. Another research article titled as Demise of Objectivity in Press has been published in The Pakistan Journal of Social Issues, Volume 3, 2012 PP 30-48, University of Gujrat.
