Grad’s work featured in The World Premiere of documentary movie, “One Day on Earth”





On 10.10.10, across the Planet, documentary filmmakers, students, and other inspired citizens recorded the “human experience” over a 24-hour period and contribute their voice to the first annual global day of media creation called “One Day on Earth”. The collaboration was the first ever simultaneous filming event occurring in every country of the world.

From Pakistan, Beaconhouse National University (BNU)’s graduate M. Nasir Ali Mazari, who is now working as Assistant Lecturer, Department of Theater Film & TV, at BNU participated on 10.10.10 as a Cinematographer and chose “Poverty” as his topic. The World Premiere of One Day on Earth documentary movie was screened on April 22, 2012 and Nasir’s footage was included in the final version. The second version of One Day on Earth documentary was filmed on 11.11.11. Nasir Ali Mazari not only participated again as a Cinematographer, but One Day on Earth team has also appointed him their local Producer in Pakistan.
