The Department of Educational Leadership and Management, School of Education at the Beaconhouse National University will be holding a Charity Fun Fair on the 9th of June, 2012 at the BNU City Campus, 3-C, Zafar Ali Road, Lahore. This event is being held to showcase the community project efforts of the Masters students who are celebrating “Teachers as Leaders”.

The event is tied to contributing towards Pakistan Rising, which is a movement to create a modern, united, globally integrated and progressive Pakistan. Their main aim is to assist their fellow citizens who are suffering in poverty and to empower them to become productive members of society. The student teachers of ELM have been collecting books and toys from their respective schools to support Pakistan Rising in its efforts to build a one of a kind Toy Library along with their primary schools in Swat.

The Charity Fun Fair 2012 will consist of many fun activities for the youth, families and ladies including musical performances, portrait sketch artists, book stalls and many delicious food stalls. There will also be a jumping castle, face painting, puppet and magic show for children.

The BNU Charity Funfair will take place on Saturday, 9th of June, 2012 from 5pm to 10pm. The entrance is by invite-only.

Passes can be obtained from the School of Education and at the entry gate at the BNU city campus.
