Dr. Taimur-ul-Hassan is Professor and Dean of School of Media and Mass Communication (SMC) at Beaconhouse National University (BNU). Dr. Hassan has 30 years of experience in media education, research and profession with a number of research articles in HEC recognized journals and more than 2,000 newspaper articles. Dr. Hassan is HEC-Registered PhD Supervisor, Member HEC Mass Communication Curriculum Committee, Member HEC Text Book, Monograph Evaluation Committee, book/ article reviewer of national and international journals and Member Punjab Public Service Commission Curriculum Committee and Punjab Public Service Selection Board. He is a member of Selection Board and Board of Studies of many universities. He has worked as an Editor in national newspapers, international news agencies and master trainer of television channels, along with working as communication specialist for Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and new media specialist.

Profile: Urooj Zafar Samdani has directed & produced a number of Italian short films in Italian language during his education in Italy. His work as a filmmaker, director & producer has appeared on all major Pakistani TV channels. He has held leading positions in most of the major TV networks of Pakistan and has produced as Executive Producer more than 500 TV shows on entertainment and Infotainment. He has been a noted film critic writing for some of the Nation’s leading English newspapers. He is also a regular contributor for Daily Times newspaper.
Dr. Wajiha Raza Rizvi

Profile: Professor Dr. Wajiha Raza Rizvi is trained in USA, UK and Norway. She is also Co-Chair of the Gender & Communication Section of International Association of Media & Communication Research and was also the Project Director to set up Department of Film & Television at NCA (2003 – 2006). She studied at NCA, Lahore, was awarded Chughtai Award for Excellence in Design. She then received scholarship under FCOSAS to study television production techniques at North East Media Training Centre (European Media School) Tyne & Wear UK and did her MA in Television Documentary from Goldsmiths’ University of London on Chevening and PhD from University of the Punjab Lahore. She has been working for the public and private sectors, and has about 100 television productions and commercials to her credit. She produced 65 SAF Stars Quiz Shows to raise funds for the 9th SAF Games among the seven SAARC nations in Pakistan in 2001. She went on Fulbright to Oklahoma State University, specializing in film research and production. She is internationally published, and her work is included in readings for courses at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and at the US Army War College. Presently she is working on “The Censorship of Visual Pleasure in Pakistani Cinema.”

Qazi Akhyar Ahmad has been teaching at TFT since 2011. He is full-time faculty teaching Videography, Post Production and Graphics courses. He has worked for 2 years at an advertising agency cum media production house in Lahore. He has worked for 6 years as Program Director at one of the Pakistani prestigious leading TV network channel HUM TV. With his previous years of work in telefilms, dramas, documentaries, magazine shows etc., he brings valuable industry expertise to the editing portion of the program.

Nasir has been teaching at TFT since 2012 as a permanent faculty member. He teaches Cinematography, Documentary, Production basics etc. His film won National Award in Filums 2012. He worked in The Documentary project “One Day On Earth” by American Director Kyle Riddick as Cinematographer from Pakistan. His recent work was a Documentary named “The Language of Love” with Tamil British Singer Susheela Raman. Nasir is planning to work on a Feature Length Documentary Film in near future.

Mehroz Sajjad is a Public Relations and Communications professional with a penchant for research, especially pertaining to Soft Power & Nation Branding. She was a Fulbright Scholar to the U.S in 2013 where she completed her M.A in Communication Management from Emerson College with a concentration in Public Relations and Stakeholder Communication. During her time in the U.S she worked on a number of international public diplomacy and branding projects with Chile, Mexico, Spain and the U.S that allowed her to develop her skills as an international liaison and special events manager.
She is currently working on a paper based on smart cities and soft power with Dr. James Gregory Payne of Emerson College.

Ms. Sabah Sultana has extensively worked with various productions houses in Pakistan and India. She has worked as the Creative Consultant to Shoaib Mansoor at Shoman Productions (Pvt). She is the former Head of Creative Department (freelance) for Drama serial Ahista Ahista which went on air in 2014 on Hum TV Network, Pakistan. She has also worked on artist management for the Coke Studio show for MTV India with Red Chillies Entertainment.
She has also worked with Moomal Productions (Pvt ltd, Karachi) as Producer for Hum TV drama serial “Daastan.” She has been associated with various other production houses both in India and Pakistan performing different production related duties.

Sahal Manzoor Sheikh's portfolio includes theatre and production experience in both Pakistan and abroad. He was the casting Director for a casting agency “Era Casting Agency” in Istanbul, Turkey. He has done professional theatre plays in Turkey, Spain and France and has done a total of 18 theatre plays in Pakistan.
He is only Pakistani to get his article published in the well-known Eurasian Journal of Business and Economics.

Usman is a profound, contemporary and conventional Musicologist. He has more than 16 years of experience as a music educator, performer, music producer, arranger and guitarist. He has been associated and worked with main stream artists of Pakistan over the years like Mekaal Hassan, Ai Mustafa and Rustam Fateh Ali Khan of Patiala Gharana. His entire work span has the reflection of both academic and field work mainly in music production.
He started his music career as a guitarist of “O”positive Band in 2000, performed in various stage shows/live concerts. He is a signed artist of two major record Labels Fire record in Pakistan and Worldwide records in India. The latest of his self-production was a solo song with a band Black n White - titled “ISHQ” in 2011 which gained recognition on national and international platforms.
He began teaching career from Aitchison College Lahore and after that joined University of the Punjab as lecture, where he got a chance to taught Music elements , aesthetics , background scoring, recording techniques and orchestrations by using modern teaching methods. He is currently a CEO of Music Factory Studios. The studio is officially signed up with more than 30 gaming brands worldwide. From 2013 till now the studio provide sound facilitation to more than 3000 games.

Bilal Sami is a filmmaker, screenwriter and director. His work has appeared on television channels and festivals both in Pakistan and internationally. He was a Fulbright scholar to the U.S. where he completed his MFA in Film from Ohio University in 2012. During his time in the U.S. Bilal produced, directed and wrote a number of shorts that have been screened at various international film festivals. He also worked on two hour-long documentaries that aired on National Geographic. His first feature length film titled ‘Lavender Rocks’ which he wrote and directed was shot in Ohio and is currently in post‐production.
In 2013-14 Bilal collaborated with the acclaimed Pakistani musician and producer Mekaal Hasan on a short documentary series titled 'Dhun'. Bilal has also written lyrics for the vocalist Zeb Bangash. Their song 'Jaisain milain ajnabi' was featured in the Indian feature film 'Madras Cafe'.
Bilal is currently writing his next feature length film ‘Sheher’ which he will produce in collaboration with the acclaimed Pakistani filmmaker and director Mehreen Jabbar. The film will be Executive Produced by Mira Nair.

Mr. Ayub Khawar has worked with majority of popular stars of Pakistan, having directed famous drama serials such as Khwaja and Son, Fishaar, Din, Daldal, Inkaar, Ghareeb-e-Shehar, Qasmi Kahani, Nisaf Sadi Ka Qassi and Kahani Ghar. All of these serials were directed for PTV. Since he left PTV, he has done several serials for ARY Digital as well, the most notable of which was Gulzar Kahani. He is currently working as the Executive Producer of famous infotainment show Mazak Raat on Dunya TV.

During the 1990s, Ali Tahir rose to prominence as a promising actor with tremendous potential. Acting is something that ran in Ali's family as both his parents, Naeem Tahir and Yasmeen Tahir, have been associated with show business for decades. He has starred in various Pakistani Dramas, Theater and sitcoms.
His recent performances have been witnessed in the sitcom 'Main Tujh Se Pyar Karta Hoon', airing on Geo TV and 'Rani', which recently aired on PTV and are much appreciated. He has also starred in the 2003 short film 'Kal', which was aired at the third Kara Film Festival.
