1. The completed application form with the required supporting documents and a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs.500/= should reach the Admission Office BNU by the notified dead line. Applicants are advised to ensure that the application is complete in all respects.
2. Candidates may apply for provisional admission if they have completed their courses, but not yet taken the examination or received their results. Applicants who are provisionally admitted must make sure that their results are received in the Admission Office by the specified date.
3. Admission will be subject to an undertaking by the student and his parent / guardian to abide by the rules and regulations framed by the University from time to time.
4. All admissions are on merit and there are no reserved seats for any group or individuals.
5. The same academic criteria of eligibility applies to overseas applicants. These applicants are also governed by relevant instructions and guidelines issued by the Federal Government.
6. Roll Nos. of selected applicants will be posted on the University website and a list will also be displayed on the notice boards of the University. The selected applicants will be required to complete all the admission formalities by the specified date failing which the offer of admission will be withdrawn.
7. If a student is involved in any undesirable or illegal activity, then the University reserves the right to cancel his or her admission. Further if at any time it is proved that he/she has submitted false information / documents, then the admission of that student will be cancelled and the student expelled from the University.
8. To be considered for admission as a transfer from another college or university, students should submit an application with a Rs.1000/= non-refundable application fee at least 4 weeks before the commencement of the semester concerned.
9. Students have to register for their courses during the specified period as notified by the Registrar. Parents are also invited to meet the concerned faculty members and visit the department during orientation days as notified by the University.
10. Once registered for a semester, a student may add or drop courses only with the approval of the Dean or incharge faculty member in conformity with the prescribed procedure and time limits. Courses dropped during this period are not shown on the semester transcript.
11. Students admitted in the first semester are allowed to change their program of studies within a prescribed period to be notified by the Registrar. In such cases W grade appears on their transcripts but is not counted towards their GPA.
